BIOGRAPHY
Carolyn Naoroz, Ph.D. is currently a faculty member in the criminal justice department at Virginia Commonwealth University. Previously, she served as the Body-Worn Camera Management Analyst for the Richmond (Virginia) Police Department, the Uniform Lesson Plan Coordinator for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services and was a doctoral research assistant at the National Institute of Justice. She has also served as the co-Chair of IACP’s Police Research Advancement Section, as well as the President of Friends of Richmond K-9, and a city council appointee to the Richmond Community Criminal Justice Board. Dr. Naoroz holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy & Administration from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Virginia Commonwealth University, a M.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University, and a B.F.A. in Dance from Fordham University and The Alvin Ailey School.
