• Served as a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, participating in research and discourse on veteran transition and public service
• Appointed member of the Virginia Board of Veterans Services, advising state leaders on policy and program improvements for veterans
• Recognized by both the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates through formal commendations honoring a distinguished military career and sustained public service contributions to veteran policy and services.
