Hakilah Hudson

Hakilah Hudson is a Ph.D. student in the Public Policy and Administration program at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from VCU as well as a Master of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Mrs. Hudson has been employed with VCU as a patrol officer within the VCU Police Department for the past 5 years. Mrs. Hudson’s research interests span a variety of fields, including homeland security and emergency preparedness, community policing, criminology, and racial and social justice in criminal justice. She is devoted to continuing her research efforts into these areas of studies to contribute to the academic environment and promote safer practices with accountability.
