Russ Evans

Doctoral Student

Russ Evans is originally from Northeast Ohio and retired from the Navy in 2017 after four deployments to the Arabian Gulf and 21 years of active duty. He has over 17 years in technical training, as faculty (both graduate and undergraduate levels), and in academic administration.  He is currently the Associate Dean of Naval Studies for United States Naval Community College. His graduate work includes George Washington University (MPP) and Naval War College (MA of National Security and Strategy). He and his wife (Kathleen) and their 15-year-old son and live in Stafford, VA.
