Sofia Simmons is a scholar, strategist, and servant-leader-in-action.

With a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (Forensic Crime Scene Investigation), she brings academic rigor and real-world public service experience to every role. She’s worked across higher education, corrections, and national policy fellowships, translating complex challenges into equitable solutions.

A former TRIO SSS and Ronald E. McNair Scholar, Wilder Graduate Scholar Fellow, and current VCU Ph.D. student in Public Policy & Administration, Sofia leads with values, vision, and a voice that moves institutions forward.
