Part Time Coordinator Internship - Partnership for Smarter Growth (PAID)

The Partnership for Smarter Growth is a 17-year-old non-profit addressing where and how the Richmond region grows. We support a vision for the region of a revitalized city and walkable, bicycle- friendly, mixed-use, transit-oriented communities knit together by an expanding transit network, along with strong affordable housing policies and rural land conservation. Our territory includes the nine jurisdictions in the region, with a particular focus on the City and the counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, and Hanover. We focus on public education about smart growth through walking tours, forums, email alerts and social media, as well as advocate for particular policies, plans and projects.

Led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, PSG established a part-time PSG Coordinator position in the summer of 2020. The position will provide a competitive salary and significant experience in smart growth, advocacy and non-profit management. Veteran smart growth advocates on PSG’s board will provide mentoring and guidance.
