Spring & Summer 2020 Brookings Institution Internships

The Brookings Institution is now accepting applications for their Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 Internship Program. The mission of the Internship program is to provide students and recent graduates with a pre-professional, meaningful, and practical work experience related to the student’s field of study or career interest.  Interns may work with Brookings’s staff in research areas - Economic Studies, Foreign Policy, Global Economy and Development, Governance Studies, and Metropolitan Policy.  Brookings also offers students the opportunity to intern in departments such as communications, human resources and central operations management.

Virginia Department of Corrections Internship-Spring/Summer 2020

The Virginia Department of Corrections: Chief of Corrections Operations Unit is now accepting application from undergraduate students for Spring & Summer 2020 Internships! This is a project-based internship to analyze and present employee input to an executive audience within the agency!

This project calls for 3 hours of academic credit (150 contact hours) for a semester. This is an average of 10 hours per week over the course of a 15-week semester; or 15 hours per week over the course of a 10-week seummer semester. There is flexibility in setting the schedule for a semester as well as adjusting it in a proactive manner as needed.

  3. Two professional references, one must be a VCU Faculty member.
