Free NECoPA registration for students

The Northeast Conference on Public Administration (NECoPA) is taking place online on November 6th and 7th, 2020. As a student, you are eligible for complimentary admission. NECoPA is an annual conference of scholars and practitioners of public service, public management, and public policy, and is a collaborative endeavor intended to foster discussions on research and practice in public and nonprofit organizations.

VCU Global Education: Education Abroad Policy & Curriculum Integration Intern

The VCU Education Abroad Office is seeking an intern to work remotely for the fall 2020 semester. This intern will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, and an organized self-starter. The Policy & Curriculum Integration Intern position will assist in market and policy research; procedure and policy drafting; international curriculum research and integration with VCU curriculum from various academic departments; international program development; and, provide administrative support to the Education Abroad Office as needed. Possible projects include: revision of major advising sheets, organization and management of course equivalency database and course request form.

The office would love to host an MPA student in need of internship hours :)

The Public Policy & International Affairs Program's Junior Summer Institute (JSI)'s application is open.

This PPIA Junior Summer Institute (JSI) is a rigorous, intensive seven-week summer program of classes and co-curricular activities promoting the professional and personal development of emerging diverse leaders in public service. The JSI curriculum is structured to introduce or strengthen skills in economics, statistics, policy analysis, writing, and public speaking.

This program is open to students graduating with their first bachelor's degree between December 2021 and August 2022.
