Pathways Program Virtual Presentation

This free virtual (online) presentation is hosted by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).  It explains and introduces you to the Pathways Programs (Internships, Recent Graduates and Presidential Management Fellows (PMF). The Information presented covers what each program offers to the job seeker, program requirements and employment potential after completion of program requirements.

Part Time Land Use Planning Associate - Baker Development Resources (PAID)

BDR is seeking candidates for one or more land-use planning associate positions. This position may range from part-time (minimum of 15-20 hours a week) to full time, which will be determined based on the availability of the candidate. This position will generally assist with due diligence research related to zoning and land use policies of various jurisdictions, permit expediting, and the preparation of various land use approval applications and zoning confirmation letters.


The ideal candidate would have a background in due diligence research related to zoning and land use policies or similar regulatory policies as well as experience with drafting land use approval applications or other similar requests. Understanding that this experience is rare, candidates participating in the Virginia Commonwealth University Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree program with an interest in Land Use Planning will be given strong consideration. Any such candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills. GIS/CAD capabilities and/or experience in real estate or real estate development would be considered a plus. This position will interact directly with clients, design/service providers, and local government
officials.

A starting rate of pay of $15 an hour is offered. The opportunity exists for an increase in this pay rate based on performance.

Data Quality Specialist - Homeward (Richmond, VA)

Homeward, the planning and coordinating agency for homeless services in the Richmond region, is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a part-time Data Quality Specialist. The Data Quality Specialist will contribute to our shared regional goal of reducing homelessness by assisting homeless service providers to collect and analyze client-, program-, and system-level data. The Data Quality Specialist will work with our regional implementation of the Homeless Management Information System to increase data quality and to meet local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
