Please join the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at the 2025 Morton B. Gulak Lecture in Urban and Regional Planning. The event will feature Barbara Brown Wilson, Ph.D., associate professor of Urban and Environmental Planning at the University of Virginia.
During this timely discussion, she'll explore creative and successful co-design tactics for working with neighborhoods, towns, and rural regions grappling with socio-environmental crises.

About the presenter
Barbara Brown Wilson is an associate professor of urban and environmental planning at the UVA School of Architecture, and co-founder of the UVA Center for Community Partnerships. Her research is often change-oriented, meaning she collaborates with partners to identify opportunities to move their communities toward just transitions and positive transformations. She is the author of Resilience for All: Striving for Equity through Community-Driven Design and a proud board member for the Community Climate Collaborative (C3).
