Fall Graduation is December 8

The Wilder School’s 2018 fall graduation will take place on Saturday, December 8, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Exhibit Hall C, starting at 2:30 p.m.

The Honorable L. Douglas Wilder, 66th governor of Virginia and distinguished professor, and Interim Dean Susan Gooden, Ph.D., will deliver remarks.

The graduate student speaker will be Brittany Voll, who will receive her Master of Public Administration, while Derek MacDonald, who will receive his bachelor’s in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, will be the undergraduate student speaker. Forty graduate degrees and 129 undergraduate degrees will be conferred.

The Wilder School’s graduation is one of more than two dozen school and departmental exercises that will take place December 7-8. All exercises will culminate in a comprehensive VCU commencement ceremony on December 8 at the Siegel Center, beginning at 10 a.m. Visit VCU 2018 Commencement for more information.­­
