The 2020-21 season of the Wilder School Doctoral Lecture Series in Public Policy began on Thursday, September 10, with a talk by Samuel L. Myers, Jr., of the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota. Myers’ talk entitled "Race-Neutrality: Rationalizing Remedies to Racial Inequality" was based on his most recent publication by the same title and touched on the impacts of social policies on the poor, racial disparities in the 21st century, and racialized perceptions and remedies to racial inequality.
