OSS to host two info sessions for legislative internship

Virginia Capital Semester Information Session

Thursday, Sept. 22 from 2–3 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 23 from 4–5 p.m.

Gain firsthand experience in the legislative arena while taking classes as a full-time student at Virginia Commonwealth University. Join the Office of Student Success for one of two Virginia Capital Semester Information Sessions on September 22-23. Virginia Capital Semester offers qualified students from accredited public and private universities across the country the opportunity to experience an internship in state government while continuing their studies on a full-time basis through course work at VCU. Internships are arranged with the legislative and executive branches of Virginia government as well as the advocacy and lobbying organizations associated with state government.

Both information sessions will be held in Scherer Hall, Room 401. The session on Thursday, September 22, will be held from 2-3 p.m. The session on Friday, September 23, will be held from 4-5 p.m. To register for either session or more program information, visit http://www.wilder.vcu.edu/programs/virginia-capital-semester/ or call (804) 827-2791.
