Wooldridge receives IASIA award

Wilder School Professor Emeritus Blue E. Wooldridge has been selected as the 2020 co-recipient of the Donald Stone Award for Outstanding Contribution and Well-being of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA).

Wilder School Professor Emeritus Blue E. Wooldridge has been selected as the 2020 co-recipient of the Donald Stone Award for Outstanding Contribution and Well-being of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA). Wooldridge has been an active member of the organization since 1997, a member of the Board, and a member of the leadership team of Working Group I. The Award would have been presented at the July 2020 Annual Conference of IASIA in Bela Bela South Africa. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, this conference has been postponed until July 2021.

The co-recipient, Prof. Bianor Scelza Cavalcanti holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. and an MBA from USC. He was a full professor and held the position of Director of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration of Getulio Vargas Foundation for eighteen years and served as Director of International Affairs for that institution for eleven years.
