Christine is an advocate for victims of crime across the Commonwealth of Virginia. In her current role with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, she promotes effective grant management and equitable victim service provision among nonprofit and government entities. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond in Journalism, followed by her Master of Social Work and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gender Violence Intervention from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to working for a grantmaking agency, she wrote grant proposals and managed a multimillion-dollar grant budget for a nonprofit in Richmond, Virginia. Outside of her victim services career, Christine is passionate about volunteering in her community through nonprofit board service.
