Chrissy is an advocate for efficient and effective public services, especially in public safety. She currently serves as a Principal Budget and Policy Analyst with the City of Richmond Department of Budget and Strategic Planning.  In this role, she focuses on initiatives to innovate and improve the city's services provided by its public safety departments. Chrissy received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Richmond, followed by her Master of Social Work and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Gender Violence Intervention from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her focus in the Wilder School doctoral program is Criminal Justice Policy, specifically around services for victims of crime.
