Tim Bland holds a master’s degree in public administration, a graduate certificate in public management and a bachelor’s in psychology and political science from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a sports league manager of Rivercity Sports and Social Club — an adult co-ed sports league offered in the city of Richmond. Concurrently, he works as a research assistant the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis (CURA) in the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Previously, he was a graduate assistant to the associate dean of the Wilder School. Prior to that position, Mr. Bland worked as a medical administrator at Virginia South Psychiatric and Family services; a counselor at the YMCA Thunderbird Camp; and was a regional manager for Brilliance Academy providing a tutoring service to children in Title 1 schools of Virginia.
