Lesa Paylor, M.A., has been on the faculty of PMG at VCU since November 1999.  Lesa has over 25 years of experience in training and organizational development.  She conducts training for the Fundamentals for Supervisors, the Experienced Supervisor's Institute, and PMG’s one day sessions.  Lesa has also delivered training for the Commonwealth Management Institute and Virginia Executive Institute.  Her specialty areas include communication, team dynamics, leadership, emotional intelligence, innovation, and meeting management.

For Mary Washington University’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies, Lesa has conducted leadership institutes for corporate organizations and non-profit associations.  As Training and Development Coordinator for Virginia Department of Health, she conducted agency wide management and staff development workshops as well as state policy courses.  As Instructional Designer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia, Lesa designed technical training and conducted media presentations.

Lesa has managed and trained staff for two international ministries.  Since 2001 she has been a Teaching Director for Community Bible Study, an international interdenominational organization.  She has worked as an independent consultant for a variety of private and non-profit organizations.
