Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society - Omega Mu Chapter 

Honoring and promoting academic excellence, community service, educational leadership, and unity. Alpha Phi Sigma is the only Criminal Justice Honor Society, is a certified member of the Association of College Honor Societies, and is affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.

Eta Lambda Sigma - Professional Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Fraternity

Our mission is to greatly enhance the student's educational and professional development through networking, practical experience, mentoring, and organizing community service events. Our vision is is to be a professional fraternity that is recognized for it's representation of the Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Program at Virginia Commonwealth University, and service to the community and the nation.

Graduate Student Association (GSA)

GSA organizes two Graduate Faculty & Student Meet & Greets, one during each semester; the Graduate Research Symposium & Exhibit in the Spring; and monthly socials throughout the school year. The GSA also helps to place graduate students on campus-wide committees, where they represent the voice and express the concerns of the graduate students of VCU.

National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice

Our members consist of criminal justice professionals such as those in law enforcement, institutional and community corrections, courts, social services, academia, religious and other community-based interests as well as criminal justice students and community leaders. Join us and discover a multi-ethnic, non-profit, nonpartisan organization that is dedicated to improving the justice system.

Public Administration Student Association (PASA)

The Public Administration Student Association (PASA) is a graduate student organization that offers professional development opportunities for students in the Wilder School PhD (Public Policy and Administration), Masters of Public Administration, and Nonprofit/Public Management certificate programs. PASA hosts social events for networking and professional development opportunities that help prepare certificate, MPA and PhD graduates to be successful in the public sector.

Urban Studies Student Association (USSA)

The Urban Studies Student Association at Virginia Commonwealth University is the resource for all Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Studies majors and minors within the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. We host General Body Meetings for other Urban Studies students to mix and mingle, community events where we partner with Richmond stakeholders and urbanist groups, and collaborate with URSP faculty and staff as undergraduate representatives.
