The Wilder School’s Center for Public Policy (CPP) will host “A CPP Symposium on Cyber-threats and Security” on Thursday, April 23. The event will be held at the Academic Learning Commons located at 1000 Floyd Avenue at 8:00 a.m.

The one-hour panel will feature four cybersecurity scholars and industry experts and will examine key issues surrounding cyber policy issues, including intellectual property and civil liberties, privacy concerns and national security. The forum will also address the role of domestic, international, governmental and non-governmental agencies in setting cybersecurity policy. “A CPP Symposium on Cyber-threats and Security” will offer a review of both the technical and policy aspects surrounding IT security and is free and open to the public.
