VCU’s L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs is pleased to present the eighth annual Plan-Off Competition on Friday, May 3, at the Virginia Housing Development Agency Main Office located at 601 South Belvidere Street.

Each spring, we showcase the outstanding skills of students within the Wilder School’s Master of Urban and Regional Planning program and set the stage for their innovative ideas. Students compete for a prize by pitching their solution to a real-world planning, public policy or management problem before a panel of expert judges. Participants will have three minutes to present their plan, which will advance through a series of rounds until a champion is named.

Over the past seven years, the event has become a hallmark event of the Wilder School attracting alumni as well as planning professionals from throughout the Commonwealth. Plan-Off is even bigger and better in 2019, as we expand the presentation of awards and invite all of the community to participate. Join us immediately following the event for a student and alumni gathering at the Home Team Grill located nearby at 1630 W. Main Street.
