What is student research at the Wilder School?
Research can lead to developing governmental reports, conference presentations or journal publications. It can also help you decide where to specialize within your discipline.
Examples of Wilder student research include:
- Examining Russia’s political evolution
- Evaluating the impact of the “Achieving the Dream: Community Colleges Count” project
- Investigating the challenges facing rural business owners
- Understanding evidenced-based practices within the correctional system
- Assisting with a historic assessment of women in Virginia politics
